Abstract: | India s growth graph points towards the upper levels with the educational industry. The latest advancements in technology has transformed the teaching methods of all segments, which has a significant impact especially with respect to higher education, allowing more specialized professionals and has enhanced teacher performance. The outcome further has generated opportunities of employment for teachers and students. Employee engagement in high educational institutes has gained popularity among the organisation and industrial sectors. The perform or perish are dictum in the current world of existence. Redefining the elaborated employee engagement which stretches to the project profits, emotional attachments, job commitments, performance level, are possessed in every individual during employment. These are influenced profoundly by commitment, satisfaction, and loyalty. The concept of employment engagement emerged purely from the industrial sector and has spread across with an insightful contribution which is highly resourceful for the skill development and bequeath knowledge amongst all sector employees by infusing values. Narrowing our forces on the Higher educational sector in India, which has experienced rapid growth in the last 30 years. And the role of employment amidst by teacher s, who play an influential and critical part in the educational system. The understanding of job engagement well fits were psychological factor positive meaningfulness enriches teacher s by rewarding the outcome that reflects further on enlightenment of students. Employee engagement is particularly important in the education sector since the concept of employee engagement is more prevalent in the corporate world than in the educational institutes. The area of concerning employee engagement during the span involves community surroundings, work-life balance, monetary rewards and non monetary rewards, recognition, power of command, social support, work ethics, are all looked at as key components.
