As malls grow, there are more jobs created for the job seekers. newlineEmployment may be formal or informal, but the welfare of employees should not be overlooked. The mall management has open employment opportunities, for undergraduates to graduates to have jobs in the mall easily. The malls do have provisions for stress management, appraisal system, grievance mechanism, training, and development forum to take care of their employees. Being in the service industry, malls train their employees to lure and attract customers, to have soft communication with them, and try to retain them for a long. Malls appoint them on various designations such as sales counter, back office, menial staff, security, etc. The fact is that the jobs provided by the malls are not permanent. | |
