Abstract: Morphometric analysis has been very popular among researchers. In medical field, morphometric studies have been found to produce significant results in terms of personal identification, differentiating the populations of various races and ethnic backgrounds. newlineThis study was performed on the radiographs of skull to evaluate the dimensions of frontal sinus cavities. The focus of this study was to attain two objectives related to frontal sinus. These were (i) to evaluate the morphometric data of frontal sinus and nasal septum in population of Mewat and Gurugram districts of Haryana (India) and (ii) to find out if there is any association between the frontal sinus and nasal septum parameters and their implications. newlineDesign of Research study and Research Methodology newlineThe data used in the study had to be collected from the archival records of digital x-rays so the study was based on retrospective study design. Protocol for the retrospective study on 200 subjects in Mewat and Gurugram region of Haryana was duly approved by Institutional Research committee (IRC) and Institutional Ethical Committee (IEC). 200 digital radiographic films were collected from both the regions and which consisted of 100 males and 100 females. Only the radiographs with good image quality and free from any artifact were included in the study. Out of 200 collected radiographs only 187 (94 males, 93 females) were found to be fulfilling the inclusion criteria. Then four groups were formed on the basis of age. The frontal sinus parameters studied were width of right and left sinus cavity, height of right and left sinus cavity and the pattern of symmetry. For the nasal septum, five main patterns were recorded. newline
