Abstract: Communications are basic to the existence and endurance of humans as well as to business. Since the day of civilization, people desired to exchange their thoughts, views, and messages among them. As with the development of civilization, human beings found different modes to communicate messages. Thus, people came up to communicate with letters, mails and telegrams. Indian Postal Service is traded in the name of India Post and is the most widely distributed network in the world which made this conveyance of mail and letters services for the people. Post office in India is the prime media for sending mails and for business solutions. The people in India were believed that the postal department is meant for mail and parcel service but the post office has changed the perception among the customers and has created an awareness of the financial, online, and insurance services provided by them. Department of Post is offering both retail and financial services to billions of people in India. But soon after the Liberalisation, Privatisation and Globalisation, Postal Department started losing its monopoly in the market newline
