Abstract: The Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is an autonomous newlinecollection of the mobile nodes to communicate over the bandwidthconstrained newlinewireless links. The Internet of Things (IoT) has recently brought a newlineparadigm shift by connecting a massive, as well as a versatile collection of newlinecertain smart objects with the Internet. The technology is known as the newlineMobile Edge Computing (MEC) primarily aims at encompassing the abilities newlineof the cloud to the near edge of its radio access network, thereby providing newlinelow latency, real-time, and high bandwidth to the resources of the radio newlinenetwork. The IoT has been recognized as a key of the MEC with the ability of newlinethe MEC to be able to provide a new cloud platform along with gateway newlineservices. The MEC further inspired the development of several masses of newlineservices and applications for a low-latency but high Quality of Service (QoS) newlineowing to the geographical distribution and support for mobility. newlineEven though the MEC has advanced in terms of latency of service newlineand has been widely investigated, the efficiency of data usage and security are newlinenot identified clearly. The EC platform also permits the edge nodes to respond newlineto their service demands, thus reducing the consumption of bandwidth and the newlinelatency of the network. The replication of data helps in improving response newlinetime for access requests and also helps in the distribution of load processing newlineof requests. As access is normally carried out on the replica of data that is the newlinenearest, global traffic will be decreased. The nodes thereby continue to get newlineaccess to the data replicas. The decision of what to replicate where, requires solving a newlineconstraint optimization problem which is NP-complete in general newline newline
