Abstract: | The objective of this thesis is to synthesize a variety of Heterocycle appended silanes. The nitrogen heterocycles are significant components in material science and have a crucial part in many biological activities. Also, silanes and have a wide range of applications in many disciplines. Thus, combining these two moieties will not only offer structural diversity, but will also improve biological, pharmacokinetic, and surface modification activities. The research is focused on the creation of novel molecular sensors for the detection of metal ions. Traditional metal identification techniques such as Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), inductively coupled plasma/mass spectroscopy (ICP MS), inductively coupled plasma/atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP AES), X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF), potentiometric methodology, ion-selective electrodes, and electrochemical processes have all been extensively used but these methodologies have limitations such as they are expensive, involve time-consuming pre-treatment processes, need expert operators, and lack mobility, all of which restrict their practical benefits. Also, the synthesized compounds. Also, the synthesized compounds were evaluated for their biological activity against a variety of bacteria and fungus, as well as their antioxidant properties were investigated. newline |
