Abstract: | Employee Engagement is a concept gaining significant importance in the past ten years. newlineOrganizations use engaged employees as a tool for the success of the business. The concept of newlineemployee engagement has gained more importance, since many drivers have been identified, newlinewhich impact employee performance and well-being at workplace. Working on a connected team newlinestimulates employed in ways that builds business connections. This trend is increasing employee newlinedisengagement globally. Employee disengagement is a negative, work-related state of mind newlinewhich is characterized by weaker, infidelity and disloyalty. The increasing rate of attrition among newlinethe skilled workforce and the high cost of replacing the skilled employee is a cause of major newlineconcern for employers. It has become more challenging for organizations to build, withstand and newlineacquire the benefits of engagement. newlineEmployee engagement is a positive attitude hold by an employee for the organization. newlineThe employees are willing to put discretionary efforts for the success of the organization and this newlineengagement level leads to success of the organization. newlineEvery organization has a clear and a defined perspective about its human resource capital newlinewhich is the most significant component for organization success. There lies a significant newlinerelationship between the performance and the association in form of attachment, belongingness, newlineinvolvement or participation that employees have at their workplaces. The more satisfied and newlineinvolved they feel it results into greater commitment, better results and longer stay of newlineperforming employees in the organization, but what creates a difference is how much involved newlinean employee feels and how is this involvement leading to engagement been practiced and newlinepracticed, decides the success of any organization survival. Thus, a deep understanding based on newlinecontemporary changes and challenges about talent engagement is significant to be studied. newline |
