quotTo stay stable in competitive and sustain for short term and long-term newlineprofitability, Process Improvement (PI) methodologies have become strategically newlineimportant for service industry in recent years to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and newlinecustomer satisfaction. These include well-known approaches such as Total Quality newlineManagement (TQM), Business Process Reengineering (BPR), Business Process newlineManagement Systems (BPMS), Lean and Six Sigma. The adoption and implementation newlineof process improvement methodology designed (5 I Identify, Investigate, Improve, newlineImplement, and Impart) in services industries, however, still appears to be at an early newlinestage. There is a very limited experimental research reported in the academic literature. newlineThis research work therefore explored the existing phenomena of PI adoption and newlineimplementation through deploying the practical approach in two leading service newlineindustries to validate the designed methodology provide the desired results, such as newlineinventory reduction in supply chain of aviation business and increase of segment review newlinein clinical research organizations.quot newline newline
