Abstract: | With process model driven software engineering and development approaches, developers create and refine process models from which a substantial portion of implementations processes are generated. During refinement, undetected faults in a model can traverse into the system model and eventually into the code. If the developed model is strong enough, then such problems can be minimised. Software process improvement (SPI) helps in making this development more robust. Distributed Multi Modal (DMM) System includes the multimodal interaction. Multimodality refers to the process in which different devices and user are able to interact aurally, visually, by touch or by gesture. newline newlineMany DMM Systems are large and complex in nature. These systems work or function in a distributed and dynamic environment, which involve complex time constraints. To meet such challenges, a good and efficient process modelling methodology is necessary.
