Abstract: Automatic generation control (AGC) is a vital problem for sound operation of power systems (Pss). The key role of AGC is to maintain the frequency balance and exchange of tie-line power. In order to improve reliability and to supply sufficient electrical power to the end-user with increasing load demand, the isolated Pss are interconnected. In such arrangement, each area supports one another in emergencies by supplying power to the needy area through tie lines. In the fast-growing dimension and difficulty of the electricity network, frequency regulation (FR) is considered to be the major significant research area for presenting superior quality electric power supply to the customers. Load frequency control (LFC) scheme involves greatly vital, capable and smart control method to carry a stable power during the erratic nature of the consumer s demand. newline
