Abstract: Introduction newlineA habitat where entrepreneurship can flourish and where business visionaries can take risks to implement their ideas, so as to fructify their goals is extremely essential and must be guaranteed to all entrepreneurs. In this activity, education acts as a tool needed to create an innovative mentality and to prepare future pioneers for solving more challenging, intertwined and evolving issues. newlineAim and Objective newlineIn contemporary market scenario, management education is highly preferred by a vast majority of students because of lucrative salaries offered by both Indian and multinational companies. The study identifies the possibility of grooming more number of entrepreneurs by reviewing the students inclination towards entrepreneurship from among management students. newlineResearch Methodology newlineFor the purpose of the study, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology [MAKAUT, formerly WBUT] has been selected since the university provides facilities for the pursuit of degree and advanced level courses in management education through affiliated institutions. The research is established on both primary and secondary data. The survey response together from 348 final year MBA students yielded the primary data; secondary data was collected from books, journals, newspaper, reports, internet, unpublished Ph.D thesis and from the records of District Industries Center, West Bengal. newlineiv newlineFactor analysis has been used to identify the Factors which motivated the respondents to get transformed into Entrepreneurs . The other analytical techniques used in this work comprise Multiple Linear Regression and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) . newlineFindings newlineThe present research identified three educational factors of which the course curriculum is of utmost importance in motivating students for entrepreneurship. It was also found that students from commerce and management background tend to be more interested in their future as entrepreneurs. Several demographic factors have also been found to play a major role in determining care
