Abstract: | The Computational Musicology is fundamentally an interdisciplinary research extent newlinebetween musicology and computational science. Computational Musicology newlineincorporates the restraints that exploits computing systems with the intention of music newlinestudies. It involves the sub-disciplines such as statistical music theory, computer music, newlinesystematic music computing, musical pattern recognition, music information retrieval, newlinedigital musicology, sound and music computing, and music analytics. Analytical newlineresearch in the domain of computational musicology crisscrosses with both the newlinehumanistic computing and computational sciences. Advents of the computational newlinemusicology comprehends an extensive scope of research disciplines apportioning with newlinethe multifarious pathway music can be characterized. Musical patterns extraction and newlineclassification of the pertinent features of Indian Classical Music plays a decisive newlineingredient in the musicological and ethno-musicological research and development. In newlinethe conformist Indian Classical Music (ICM) has two basic bare bones, namely, the newlineraga which is the musical scale usually in the classical mode and the unambiguous newlinerhythm which proceeds as an adornment on the music. Raga, in Indian music, is newlinestructured from different and proper combination of notes. History of classical music newlineshows that playing or serving every raga has some unique sessions. With enormous newlinecollection of Raga in online libraries, locating a raga or an artist is not a difficult task. newlineBut a genuine problem is what to search for, that will instinctively satisfy user s newlinerequirement in a particular time. Musical rhythmic structures are the perfect newlinecombination of beats that are the most inseparable components of music, containing the newlinemusical notes. The knowledge sharing on music rhythm patterns and their applications newlinefor generating improvised musical performance is a challenging task for the novices of newlinecomputational musicology. Accomplishment in various aspects of life is associated newlinewith the balanced intelligence of human beings. |
