Load Balancing concept in cloud computing has revolutionized the work process of cloud data centers by challenges of resource utilization and optimization. The world of work is continuously trying to enhance the performance of the cloud by increasing the resource utilization. However, the user faces challenge in selecting the suitability of a resource, inefficient resource utilization, and categorization of resources depending upon the capacity of resources are the major issues that further needs to be resolved. Due to availability of multiple service providers with their own policies, cloud users face difficulty in selecting suitable service provider for their respective demands. A cloud service broker technique is being presented that selects service for users considering response time, computing cost etc. newlineAn attempt has been made to introduce a Dragonfly based load balancing technique to reduce the task execution time and overall execution cost. The results obtained using the proposed technique were compared with some of the existing techniques to find the best one. The outcomes showed that the proposed model provides better results in terms of total task execution time, overall cost, throughput, and resource utilization. newline newline-
