Abstract: The survey conducted on the incidence of sucking pests and mites in major citrus newlinegrowing districts of Tamil Nadu, revealed that almost all the locations recorded the incidence newlineof major sucking pests viz., citrus psyllid (Diaphorina citri Kuwayama), blackfly newline(Aleurocanthus woglumi Ashby), mealybug (Planococcus citri Risso), red scale newline(Aonidiella aurantii Maskell), leaf mite (Panonychus citri McGregor) and aphid newline(Toxoptera citricida Kirkaldy) in a moderate to severe intensity besides entomophages which newlineincluded the predators; coccinellids (Cryptolaemus montrouzieri Mulsant, Cheilomenes newlinesexmaculatus L., Coccinella transversalis Fabricius); green lace wing (Chrysoperla zastrowi newlinesillemi Esben Petersen); predatory spiders (Oxyopes sp., and Neoscona sp.),and parasitoids newline(Encarcia tricolor Forster, Aphytis melinus DeBach), phytoseiid mite (Amblyseius sp.). newlineThe investigation on the seasonal incidence of sucking pests and mites in aid lime newlineecosystem during September 2017 to August 2018, revealed that the population of D. citri newlinewas more during 36th standard week (1st week of September) and its second peak coincided newlinewith 35th standard week (4th week of August) (18.70 nymphs|). The population of citrus newlinemealybug, P. citri was the first peak occurred during 41st standard week (2nd week of newlineOctober) and second peak during the 25th standard week (4th week of June) with a record newlinepopulation of 24.70 nymphs. Regarding the population of citrus red scale, A. aurantii the first newlinepeak was recorded during 43rd standard week (4th week of October) with a population of newline31.40 nymphs and second peak coincided with 25th standard week (3rd week of June) (37.20). newlineThe population of A. woglumi was the highest (35.70) during 36th standard week (1st week of newlineSeptember) followed by a gradual decline 4.90 nymphs/ leaflet, followed by a steady newlineincrease (68.40 nymphs) during 23rd standard week (1stweek of June). The population of newlineP. citri was high during 36th standard week (1st week of September) and its first peak newlineoccurred during 25th standard week (3rdwe
