Impact of Small Irrigation on Agricultural Production a Case Study of Belgavi District Karnataka State

Abstract

We research the impacts of irrigation on seed production, land prices and crop intensities newlineusing plot level data from a national survey in India. Our key recognition strategy is newlinefocused on an adequate number of households increasing numerous irrigation parcels. newlineThe goal of this research is to affect minor irrigation in agriculture a case study of newlineBelagavi District, State of Karnataka. The research was only focused on minimal newlinefamiliarity of just two cultivars and two talukas. After monitored household fixed effects newlineand plot characteristics, our calculations indicate the clear and substantial impact of the newlineirrigation on all these effects, with the dominant effects on the strength of cultivation. We newlinealso find irrigation efficiency significant. Our findings help small-scale irrigation impacts newlineon agriculture in the district of Belagavi in Karnataka. Agriculture markets must become newlineideal in order for farmers to achieve equal price for their goods to promote interregional newlineexchange. newline
