dc.description.abstract | Currently, we are in an age where every object is a smart object. a smart object is an newlineobject that has embedded electronics and connected to the internet. In other words, newlinespecifically, the physical world is fully occupied and affianced by the paradigm namely, newlineinternet-of-things (IoT). The notion of IoT is to assemble several or numerous things newlinetogether, to communicate with each other and therefore help each other to make newlineappropriate decisions accordingly. These interconnections perform well due to the newlinepresence of embedded electronics via sensors and actuators. the main objective of IoT is newlineto bring every logical as well as physical thing present in world into the world of newlinecomputation. IoT emphasises the integration of the internet with each thing that can have newlinea tangible or intangible presence, that can have living or non-living existence, that can newlinehave physical or logical occurrence. newlineHere, the thesis addresses the current trends, major research challenges and application newlinedomains in the field of IoT. This work covers the various viewpoints of several newlineacademicians, practitioners, researchers and organisations about IoT. This work focuses newlineon resource management in IoT. Resource management as a challenge has remained in newlinethe forefront in all the emerging research fields, so in IoT. newlineThis thesis focuses on the efficient utilization of resources in an IoT system. IoT newlineresources have been identified and classified. These resources can be added into the newlinesystem by various providers, and similarly the resources can be removed from the system newlinedue to some intentional or unintentional reasons. The number and type of resources may newlinegrow dynamically in an IoT environment and also the requirements of users may vary newlinedynamically on the basis of varying demands. Therefore, to maximize the throughput of newlinethe system, the resources must be deployed, managed and used efficiently. This work newlinehas first proposed a naïve model, RDSA model to improve resource management in IoT. newlineThis model has been validated by comparing the resource utilization b | |
