Abstract: | newline The main objective of this research was to design a segmentation and classification model which can precisely detect the presence of thyroid nodule and can accurately discriminate between benign and malign nodules. The diagnosis of thyroid nodules is a challenging process even for expert clinicians. The proposed image segmentation model is designed based on improvised technique and for classification purpose modified KNN mechanism is utilized. |
