Abstract: | newline Nanotechnology is a progressively evolving branch of science which constitutes the newlinedevelopment of synthesis protocols for nano particles over a range of chemical compositions, newlinesizes and certain shapes. Nano particles of a wide range of materials can be prepared by a variety newlineof methods. In this study, we describe a rapid and eco-friendly method for green synthesis of newlinemetal oxide nano particles using Mollugo oppositifolia and Trianthema portulacastrum plant newlineleaf extract as both the reducing and stabilizing agent, and demonstrate its suitability for newlinesynthesis of metal oxide nano particles. The waste water of textile dyes draining into the river newlinewithout treatment results in pollution of water resource, threatening ecology, environment and newlinehuman health. So it is essential to develop economic and effective methods for dye waste water newlinetreatment. The photocatalytic method has been shown to be efficient for degradation and newlinemineralization of various organic pollutants in water at room temperature and normal pressure. newlineThe method has potential to be used for treatment of industrial or domestic waste water on a newlinelarge scale. Nano structured semiconductors (such as ZnO, TiO2, La2O3 and CeO2) are proved newlineto be an excellent photocatalyst which can degrade many kinds of persistent organic pollution. newlineThe advantage of using these inorganic oxides as antimicrobial agents is that they exhibit strong newlineactivity even when administered in small amount. Taking into consideration the above newlinementioned issues, a stepwise systematic approach to explore those above problems is the main newlineobjective of this thesis, to prepare metal oxides ZnO, TiO2, La2O3 and CeO2 nano particles by newlineusing leaf extract of Mollugo oppositifolia and Trianthema portulacastrum and by a chemical newlinemethod. To characterized by XRD , HR-SEM , TEM and FT-IR spectral studies. To access the |
