Abstract: | At present, Macro-economic reforms related to manufacturing sector and newlineinitiative of Make in India by the government of India has enhanced the role of large newlinescale industries towards the growth and development of secondary sector. The large scale newlinemanufacturing industries play an important role in employment creation, resource newlineutilization and income generation and facilitate to promote changes in a gradual and newlinephased manner for socio-economic development. LSI has been given an important place newlinein the framework of Indian planning since beginning both for economic and ideological newlinereasons. newline21 Century is going to witness the vital and dynamic working Culture and the newlinepresent dynamic economic conditions and social uncertainties have changed the nature of newlinework all over the world. And the concept of Work life balance is attracting more and newlinemore attention and relevance in an ever dynamic working environment. Under such newlinesurroundings it is essential to understand the Human Resource Management Initiatives in newlinethe Indian large scale manufacturing industries in the direction of work life Balance and newlinethe impact of such initiatives on employee s job performance. Because, the newlineAs a result, an attempt was made to understand and validate the impact of work newlinelife balance practices on the employee performance in the large scale manufacturing newlineindustries. The study uses a structured questionnaire survey, to collect the data from the newlineselected respondents. And structured questionnaire is divided in to the five groups viz newlineDemographic profile of the sample respondents, Personal and professional aspects of newlinework life balance, Organization s non-monetary practices for creating work life balance, newlineBarriers in achieving a good work life balance at workplace, Benefits of work life newlinebalance at workplace. newlineThis research revealed that there is positive correlation with strong association newlinebetween the selected dependent variable (Performance of employees) and independent newlinevariables (IV 1, IV2 and IV3).
