Abstract: | Cancer is a disease in which cells grows in an abnormal condition which leads to the formation of mass of tissue called tumour cells. In this case the death of old cells does not occur instead they grown in uncontrollable manner. The way in which drug is deliver has changed due to the emergence of nanotechnology because design and target changes based on position, type and stages of tumour cells. Gold nano particles (AuNPs) were introduced to produce new novel nano materials due to their high stability and optical property. Researchers are going on to develop Chitosan-based drug delivery system. newlineIn the present study, 5-fluorouracil loaded Chitosan capped gold nano particle is synthesized with Chitosan nanoparticles, gold nanoparticles and 5-fluorouracil. Chitosan Nanoparticles (NPs) was prepared using ionic gelation method and dried Chitosan nanoparticles was coated with gold nano particle to form a nano composite and further coated with gt99% pure 5-Flurouracil to form a conjugate. The crystalline nature of the particles loaded nano composite using gold nanoparticles was determined using x-ray diffraction spectrum analysis. The XRD pattern of crystallography obtained for the nano composite showed the peaks and the 2-Theta (2and#952;) values are identified in the region. The FTIR spectrum of Chitosan NP, gold NP and 5Flurouracil linked gold coated Chitosan NP were presented various nanoparticles are identified in this Gold coated Chitosan NP. The surface morphology of 5-fluorouracil loaded Chitosan capped gold nano composite was found out by Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM). The fractured surface of Chitosan and gold nano composite with 5-Flurouracil exhibited dispersion and it is characterized by the presence of individual isolated nanotubes within Chitosan matrix. Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) involves exposing the material under study and an inactive reference to similar heat cycles. newlineThe XRD pattern of crystallography obtained for the nano composite showed the peaks at 36.563 in the 2- |
