Abstract: Human Resource Management refers to the management of people in an newlineorganisation. It is a systematic approach to achieve organisational objectives through newlinethe optimal use of skilled employees. newlinePolicing is extensively supposed as a highly stressful occupation and newlineworking in this environment makes police personnel vulnerable to adverse newlinephysiological and psychological outcomes. (Hartley, et al 2013). Different people newlineworking in various occupation incur different stressors and police stress is distinct newlinefrom other stressors. newlineEmployees are managing multiple responsibilities at work and also busy in newlinemanaging the work schedule in the office. In this study, the occupational stress has newlineexamined to get a thorough action plan to enhance it. The key factors taken into newlineconsideration are the demographic variables, job characteristics, causes of stress, newlineconsciousness of stress, stress coping skills, stress coping strategies, stress newlinemanagement techniques and job satisfaction of police personnel in Tiruchirappalli newlinecity. The result of study avenues and the most important factors of stress will guide newlinebank employees to enhance the overall quality of life in Tiruchirappalli. newlineThis study highlights the stress coping skill to improve job satisfaction among newlinebank employees in Tiruchirappalli city. The present study would focus on the stress of newlinethe several factors are role conflict, role ambiguity, work environment, work load, newlineassertiveness training, decision making skills, time management skills, rational coping newlinestrategy, emotional coping strategy, avoidance strategy, stress management newlinetechniques at individual and organizational level towards job satisfaction This study newlinehighlights the factors of occupational stress and job satisfaction and suggests suitable newlinemeasures to conducive working conditions in the workplace
