Abstract: | Nanoscience has been established recently as a new interdisciplinary newlinescience. It can be defined as a whole knowledge on fundamental properties of newlinenano-size objects. Humanity has experienced several technological revolutions newlinethat have strongly influenced the course of history. The first, the industrial newlinerevolution introduced the steam engine and steelmaking. The second was newlinepromoted by the introduction of electricity on an industrial scale. Most newlinerecently we have had the Information Revolution, characterized by the newlinewidespread introduction of computing devices and the internet. newlineNanotechnology is widely considered to constitute the basis of the next newlinetechnological revolution. Nanotechnology has become one of the most talented newlinetechnologies useful in all areas of science. (Ramsden, 2005; Luca Marchiol, newline2012) newline |
