Abstract: World Health Organisation (WHO, 2011)1 newlinedefines disability in three newlineaspects which are impairment, activity limitation and participation restrictions. Impairment is a newlinemalfunction of any part of the body. Activity limitation is a difficulty a person faces while newlineperforming a job. Restriction of participation is a situation where a person experiences problems newlineinvolving the basic day-to-day situations. Thus it illustrates that disability is just not a health issue newlinebut an individual trying to overcome obstacles with regards to a physical feature as well as from the newlinesociety which is constructed in the environment where the concern lives. newline(UNCRPD, 2016)2 newlinedefines disability as a result of a barrier faced by an individual from its newlineimpairment as well as from the societal attitude and environmental forces which obstructs them to newlineparticipate in an unbiased manner. Mike Oliver framed the social model of disability in 1983 that is newlinestill significant in the present day. This model focuses on the need of welcoming a social change newlinethat draws attention towards the improvement of the experiences that a persons with disabilities newline(PwD) encounters in the society (Oliver, 1990)3 newline. According to this model, it is the society that newlinemakes a PwD disabled through discrimination and denial of their legible rights and establishment newlineof monetary enslavement. Discrimination at an institutional, environmental and attitudinal level newlinecreates disability for PwD newline
