Abstract: Introduction: Hypothyroidism is a common ailment affecting people globally due to newlinedeficiency of thyroid hormones along with their slow metabolism. It is associated with newlinedyslipidemia and inflammation. The hs-CRP (high sensitivity-C-Reactive Protein) is a newlinesignificant inflammatory marker. A vitamin D deficiency is witnessed in autoimmune diseases newlineand metabolic syndromes. Low vitamin D levels, inflammation, and dyslipidemia were newlineproved to have a connection with autoimmune thyroid diseases. Objectives: Our study aims newlineto estimate the relationship between hs-CRP and lipid profile in vitamin D supplemented newlinehypothyroid patients in comparison to controls and also to compare the above-mentioned newlineparameters in without vitamin D supplemented hypothyroid cases. newlineConclusion: This Study concludes that vitamin-D supplementation progressively improves newlinethe thyroid profile in hypothyroid patients. Vitamin-D supplementation decreases TC,TG,LDL newlineand increase HDL lipid profile , decrease hs- crp, oxidative stress (MDA) and normalized newlineblood cell indices, hand grip muscle strength, and peak flow rate indicating faster better newlineimprovement . With the above findings vitamin-D supplementation is found to be beneficial newlinefor hypothyroid cases. Hence it is suggested to recommend for hypothyroid patients along newlinewith thyroid therapy. newline
