Abstract

newline The main purpose of the study is to know achievement of Sarva Shiksha Abhijan and Sarva newlineShiksha Mission in the District of Hoogly, West Bengal. It is a multidimensional study. With newlinerespect to some variables such as Gender, area, age, qualification, profession, family size, newlineincome, health status, social awareness, social involvement, S.S.A./ S.S.M. Activities and newlineexperience, and infrastructural development, achievement of Sarva Shiksha Abhijan and Sarva newlineShiksha Mission in the District of Hoogly, West Bengal is being studied. In the present study, newlinescales of perception for students, Guardians and for Teachers were constructed and newlinestandardized. Perception scale is being prepared with the open ended questions. newlineSurvey method has been applied. Stratified random sampling is adopted for the selection of newlinesamples. For the study, two blocks from eastern region of the District namely, Chinsurah newlineMogra and Chanditala-I have been identified
