In the context of this century, population explosion is a burning threat to our nation. The explosive growth rate of population in the developing countries like India is due to various reasons. There are few methods for the regulation of population explosion. Physical and surgical methods are two common ways to combat to this major problem. Besides the human over population, unwanted animal populations are also there such as stray dogs and cats. Surgical methods has its limitations and needs huge infrastructures for large scale application and also has post-operative complications. newlineIn this present study an attempt was made to understand and evaluate the role of two agents on male reproductive system. One of these agents was herbal product, Green Tea Leaf Extract (GTLE) and another was chemical product, Calcium Chloride (CaCl2). The mode of administration of these two different products was also different. The GTLE was administered orally to the experimental groups of animals. On the contrary, CaCl2 was given through intratesticular injection to all the experimental animals.
