Abstract

Isolation of quality DNA from samples still remains to be one of the preliminary essential newlinesteps for molecular biology applications. Considerable quantity of quality DNA isolation is newlineessential for almost all molecular biological experiments. In case of forensic study, newlinemetagenomics, anthropological research and disease diagnosis and other environmental newlineapplications purified DNA are necessary. Throughout last thirty years many strategies have newlinebeen employed following innovative techniques. Some of those methods are also newlinecommercially available and used randomly. Magnetic carrier technology based protocols are newlinealso available for isolation of DNA from soil, water, food, bacterial, animal, blood etc newlinesamples. But only a few (only five) reports demonstrating use of MNP for DNA isolation newlinefrom plant system is reported in the last decade. newline
