dc.description.abstractInformation is one among the important aspects of the business world. To newlineimprove the business world a data warehouse is the recent technology for newlineintelligent decision making by collecting data from many operational and newlineheterogeneous data sources effectively. The data warehouse has different types newlineof methodologies, data models and architectures. Because of this reason, the newlineinformation in the data warehouse should be standardized, consistent, and clean newlinefrom various operational systems. In organization it helps to retrieve and newlineanalyse the data by extraction, transform and load data by business analytical newlinetools. The implementation of data warehouse needs a huge monetary newlineinvestment. Return on Investment on a data warehouse has been designed using newlinethe concept of bottom-up architecture and top-down implementation. newlineThe hub and spoke architecture and bus architecture are very closely correlated in newlineterms of all the distinct parameters in data ware house. The hub and spoke newlinearchitecture use top down methodology and the bus architecture uses bottom up newlinemethodology. Data warehouse which is Platform Independent and Strategic newlineEfficient will provide high impact on its functionality, resulting on a high ROI newlineand a good throughput. Data warehouse may store the data by means of fact newlinetables and dimension tables. newline
