Abstract: system. Frequency consistency is much needed for all electrical apparatus to operate in good condition. Any small or change in load demand in any one of the areas in interconnected power system causes the fluctuation in frequencies of each and every area and also there is fluctuation of power in tie line. The main aim of this research work is to develop an appropriate secondary controller for single area nuclear power system to eliminate fluctuation in the frequencies and power in tie line. newlineDemonstrating and examination of single area load frequency control of nuclear power system with different energy storage units (Hydrogen Aqua Electrolyzer (HAE), Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) unit and Redox Flow Battery (RFB)) are analysed. If system size increases difficulty also equally rises. To maintain the time domain specification parameter control within the specified limit, is required a suitable secondary controller to eliminate disturbances in system frequency and tie line power. newlineThe investigation power system consists of tandem compound turbine, hydraulic amplifier, and generator and speed regulator. The power generating unit speed governor is act as primary controller. The fluctuation in the frequencies and power in tie line is controlled by using suitable secondary controller. In case of sudden 1% (one percent) step load demand in the investigated system develops steady state error, damping oscillation, peak undershoots, and peak overshoot in the system frequency and deviations of power in tie line. newline
