dc.description.abstractIn the contemporary world, many dangerous disease which are affecting human beings and new pandemic disease is also raising alarm to have an effective health care system. In this aspect the technology plays a major role in improving and optimizing the health care system. The technologies are used in health care systems for diagnosis, prognosis, planning of treatment, life supporting devices, surgical system and continuous health monitoring system. In this thesis, the diagnostic health care system is chosen. The diagnostic is done by taking blood test, urine test, and medical imaging like X-ray, CT scan, Ultrasound scan and MRI scan system. Among these, the focus will be emphasised on MRI imaging in identifying the brain tumor using image processing. newlineThe brain health is vital for the human being throughout the entire life time which controls the thought, speech and body movements. From the cancer.net report it is found that an estimated 24,530 adults and 3,460 children will be diagnosed with the brain tumor this year 2021. The brain tumor is of two types, primary tumor and secondary tumor. The primary tumor will start from the brain itself and the secondary tumor will start from some where else in the body and reach the brain. The symptoms of the brain tumor are less memory, lack of coordination in body movement, vomiting, lack of smell, taste and sense, and headache.
