The application of filtering antenna has increased exponentially newlinein recent times due to the rapid developments in wideband wireless newlinecommunication technologies since the advent of new radio receptor. The newlinemain aims of these technologies are used to provide improved frequency newlineresponse with reduced circuit complexity. Hence filtering antennas are newlineessential components in all modern digital communication receivers and newlinethis has been extended from the traditional analog modulation (AM/FM) newlineto GSM, WiFi, Wi-Max, navigation, Bluetooth, 3G/4G LTE, 5G, mmwave newline(Ka-band) and many more. Moreover, impedance matching network newlineincreases complexity of the system. Therefore, the need for designing a newlineminimized wideband filtering antennas for various wireless environments newlineis inevitable and this gives much attention among the filtering antenna newlinedesign community. newlineIn the first part of the research work, a miniaturized microstrip newlineLow Pass Filter (LPF) design comprises of meander lines, rectangular newlinepatches, open circuit stubs and a complementary split ring resonator newlineplaced in between the input/output ports has been presented. The proposed newlinefilter has insertion loss of 0.10 dB in the pass band with a bandwidth of newline3.8 GHz. It also has a wide stopband bandwidth of 9.9 GHz with newlineminimum attenuation of 28dB (between 4.1GHz and 14GHz). By newlineintroducing high impedance transforms and open stubs in the design wide newlinestop band is achieved. This is ranging from 4 to 14 GHz newline
