Abstract: | ABSTRACT newlineElectricity is the key source to functionalize the whole globe. It is the major support of industrialization and urbanization to maintain the worldwide production for the fulfilment of the demand of the society. A huge supply of electricity is conceivable, due to power generation from Thermal Power Plants that are required to run and manage industrialization and urbanization. The Thermal Power Plants are mostly functioned by using coal and are the major causes of the generation of Fly Ash (FA). Power production relies on the combustion of coal which in turn produces a by-product in huge quantities as Fly Ash, the major source of global ash pollution. Fly Ash has been measured as a global hazard for two decades. In the present century, the prime apprehension for Fly Ash is the safe disposal under the control of management and utilization of Fly Ash by the Central electricity authority (CEA) in India. Disposal of Fly Ash through several conventional methods led to contamination of the groundwater, air pollution and formation of piles to landfills. Besides pollution Fly Ash bears some important properties for agricultural purposes put forth by several researchers. newlineFly Ash consists of greyish and polished powder oxides of heavy metals. It mostly contains silica, aluminium and oxides of iron, calcium, magnesium, arsenic, chromium, lead, zinc and other toxic metals. Based on these properties about 87% of Fly Ash are utilized globally for construction purposes and focus on other fields like agriculture for various productive purposes. But the unceasing and overproduction is major issue for maintaining and managing the constant. A major solution for Fly Ash is effective recycling for sustainable utilization. Due to containing oxides of elements, the Fly Ash has the ability to increase soil nutrition for the purpose of agriculture utilization. The major implementation of Fly Ash amendment with soil to increase soil fertility for cultivation practice are contributed by a number of researchers. Vermicomposting is a |
