dc.description.abstract | newline newlineThe improvement in the performance characteristics of gasoline engine is newlinerequired since there are a series of development in automobiles which have been newlinechanging rapidly. Different factors influence engine life. Spark ignition timings, newlinecompression ratio, alternative fuels are the main factors that cause damage and increase newlinethe emission of the engine. newlineIn the present work, experiments were carried out on four stroke, single cylinder, newlinewater cooled, constant speed, variable compression ratio (VCR) gasoline engine.
