Abstract: | ABSTRACT newlineThe thesis was embodied with the Synthesis of some novel heterocyclic newlineorganic compounds through various nanocatalysts and evaluation of their newlinebiological activities. Accordingly, the entire research work and the related literature newlinereview were presented in six consecutive chapters. newlineChapter 1: Introduction newlineThe chapter introduces the background of the proposed research work. It newlinemainly portrays the role of nanocatalysts in the synthesis of organic compounds and newlinethe biological significance of the various heterocyclic compounds. In particular, the newlinebiological profiles of 1, 3, 4-oxadiazole, 3, 4-dihydropyrimidinone, quinoxaline and 1, newline4-benzodioxane were discussed. Further, the need for the present study was newlinepresented, along with the scope of the proposed research work. The objectives were newlinelisted out and finally, a layout of the thesis has been proposed. newlineChapter 2: Materials and Methods newline newlineThe chapter includes the various materials incorporated in conducting the newlineproposed research plan, along with the methods implemented in evaluating the newlineexperimental procedures. The nanocatalysts were synthesized in different routes such newlineas sol-gel method, hydrothermal method etc. These nanocatalysts were characterized newlineby using various physic-chemical instrumental techniques such as X-ray newlinediffractometer (XRD), Scanning electron microscope embedded with electron newlinedispersive spectrophotometer (SEM-EDS), Raman spectrophotometer and Nitrogen newlineadsorption-desorption studies (SBET, m newline2 newline-1 newline.g newline techniques. Further, the organic newlinecompounds were constructed through multicomponent one-pot synthesis method using newlinerefluxing or microwave or ultrasonic conditions. The structural skeletons and the newlinepresence of the functional group substituents of the synthesized organic compounds newlineAndhra University, Visakhapatnam newlinehave been examined through various spectroscopic techniques such as newline1 newline13 newlineH-NMR, newlineC- newlineNMR, FTIR and Mass instrumental methods. The melting points of the compounds newlinewere determined, and the elemental analysis was conducted |
