Abstract: | newlineExistentialism was a notable philosophical movement in Europe and America. It had its newlineroots in Germany, France, Denmark, and Italy. It was the sequel to two world wars that newlineaffected almost every aspect of the human race. The world that was once known for a set newlineof good moral values like love, brotherhood, cooperation, peace, faith, and satisfaction newlinewas now dominated and tormented by anxiety, insecurity, deception, loneliness, and the newlinestruggle for existence. There was chaos and confusion everywhere. The common masses newlinewere not able to heave a sigh of relief. Although the impact of Existentialism was indeed newlinenoteworthy, it was the only movement that directly enabled the renowned schools to newlineruminate over the havoc created by it. They realized that an individual himself must seek newlinesolutions to all of his problems. It was possible only if everyone would take responsibility newlinefor their actions. The entire world was witness to the breakdown of human civilization in newlinetwo World Wars. It made an individual responsible for maintaining his existence. He has newlineto welcome change in his ideology and even his belief system has to go through a newlineconstant and painful journey of modernization through transformation. Inside his heart, newlinethe search for peace and prosperity was still illuminating. The previous advancement, newlinewhich was known for its stability, had become obsolete and there were no footprints of it newlineon the sands of time. The skyscrapers, pride, notions, the comfort of a million people, and newlineunending planning had completely disappeared. The real strength of an individual is newlinerevealed through the acid test. An enormous tide had swept all the good ethical values newlineover the face of the earth. The entire map of World Wars had brought all modernization newlineto the brink of extinction. But his quest for peace and prosperity led him to selfintrospection, newlineand he realized that he should not depend on others to have happiness. newlineTherefore, there are various theories that come to mankind s rescue in such a traumatic newlinesituation when human survival |
