Abstract: | Conventional methods used in batch signature verification not distinguished between static newlinenode signature verification and mobile node signature verification. Static nodes rarely faces newlineenergy expenditure problem but energy conservation is given a critical importance in mobile newlinenodes. In this thesis we propose a new scheme for energy conservation at mobile receiver. newlineMobile receiver request sender to modify the batch size based on the available energy at the newlinereceiver, when energy at the mobile receiver has reached to particular threshold1 than sender newlineis informed to reduce the batch size to half of the original bath size, which decreases the newlineenergy utilized by the mobile receiver for batch signature verification. When the energy at newlinethe mobile receiver has reached to threshold2 then sender is informed to stop batch newlinetransmission till further request from mobile receiver for batch transmission of new batch newlinesize, this reduces packet loss occurs when batches are not reached to mobile receiver. newlineJitter occurs in transferring signed multicast batches are identified by calculating the average newlineround trip time in transferring the sequence of ping packets with time stamp for small newlineperiodicity. If the average round trip time between two sequences of ping packets is well newlineunder the acceptable threshold limit then the periodicity of the ping packet sequence is newlinedoubled. If the average round trip time between two recent sequences of ping packet newlinetransmission is more than acceptable values, then the inter-frame delay and Buffer size are newlinecalculated by considering the average delay of two recent sequences and the number of data newlinepackets coming at that time. A batch RSA signature is verified to check for authenticity and newlinethe Inter-frame delay is applied between data packets. The inter-frame delay does not allow newlinecontents to display with the variable delay between data packets. This method is suitable for newlinemobile receivers where multicast data streaming with the small delay is tolerable and data newlinelose intolerant application |
