Abstract: | The Problem of intrusion detection and secure routing in Mobile Adhoc newlineNetwork (MANET) has been well studied. There exist several techniques which use newlinevarious features of network, physical, transmission characteristics of nodes in the newlinedetection of intrusion attack. Still, the methods lag in achieving expected newlineperformance to support the improvement of QoS of MANET. Towards the scope, newlinefirst a node quality based cluster routing as K-means-WCA (K-means-Weighted newlineCluster Algorithm) is proposed. The quality routing measure cluster the nodes newlineaccording to the K-means clustering where the cluster head selection is enforce by newlinecomputing the node quality value based on mobility, energy, delay and distance newlinefeatures. Also, the detection of malicious node is performed based on the same newlinequality value. Again, towards performance development, a Node Activity Scanning newlineRated Trust based Clustering (NASRTCA) scheme is proposed which based on the newlinepacket features obtained from any node. The method uses hop count, sequence no, newlinetime sent, payload features in pattern matching with different threats pattern. By newlinematching the pattern, the value of trust is computed. Accordingly, intrusion newlinedetection is enforced. Third, a Cryptography Based Malicious Node Detection and newlineSecure Routing (CBMNDSR) are proposed which enforce access restriction in MAC newlinelayer which enforces access restriction by computing trust value. Similarly, hop newlinecount and trust value used in intrusion detection where data security is enforced newlineusing cryptography. Finally, a Real-time Region Clustering and Spatial newlineTransmission (RRCST) model is proposed which cluster the nodes according to newlineregion properties. The selection of cluster head is based on behavior in transmission newlineand statistics of the node. The method estimates geographic supports towards newlinevarious nodes and based on that the method performs clustering. Further the CH newlineselection is enforced by energy, transmission and geographic features. The security newlinein routing is enforced with reliable transmission support (RTS) based route newlineselection. All the methods produce higher performance in different QoS metrics newlineconsidered and improve the performance. newline |
