Abstract: The objective of the present study remained to formulate Anti-Hypertensive drug newline(Moxonidine) transdermal patch by Die-cast method by means of different proportion of newlinehydrophobic polymer and hydrophilic polymer with and without enhancer. The prepared newlinetransdermal patch of Moxonidine containing, 4% Polyvinyl alcohol as the backing newlinemembrane, with the rational blend of polymers along with the required magnitude of newlinedrugs, were initiated to be elegant, free from any abnormal deformities. The newlinepreformulatory aspects, which included FT-IR studies, revealed out the facts that the newlinepolymers used were innocuous and no inconvenient disturbances in the vibration of the newlinefunctional groups of the molecules were witnessed. The used polymers namely Ethyl newlinecellulose, Acrycoat S-100 as Hydrophobic and Sodium alginate, HPMC as hydrophilic newlinepolymer along with the drug Moxonidine were safe for further works. newline
