Abstract: The most inevitable necessity of renewable energy scenarios is newlinethe modelling of products based on cost and performance efficiency. The newlinedesign must match the variable load needs and external environmental newlineconditions with higher accuracy in the overall design. The performance of DC newlineto DC converters and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controllers are newlinethe key features in deciding the operation of low-power portable applications newlineor high power remotely implemented circuits, where the harnessed solar newlineenergy has to be shared among the circuit operation as well as load newlinerequirements. More than energy generation and energy storage, energy newlineharnessing needs to be taken care of for non-conventional methods in remote newlineand portable applications. In the usage of hybrid energy resources, we may end newlineup with inefficiency if proper controllers and converters are not used. newlineField Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based digital newlinecontrollers prove to be low cost, low power, compact, and high-efficiency newlinesolutions with greater re-configurability and robustness features. When the newlineconverter circuit is to serve multiple outputs, then the performance of the newlinesystem deviates from the expected results due to switching and mode newlineconversions, if not addressed properly at the design stage. In addition to the newlineconverter and controller performances, a power backup requirement through a newlinestorage system is required in the solar powered applications to improve the newlinestability and continuity of the power provided to the load. This leads to the idea newlineof finding out a better solution for the various solar powered device to operate newlineefficiently with available harvested power by wasting lesser power in mere newlinecircuit operation. newline
