Abstract: The consumption of energy and pollutants discharges is increased due to the modern civilization. The energy demand and pollution are the existing and emerging prime issues from the last decades onwards. Photocatalysis technique provides great attention to address the energy demand and environmental pollutions. Many different materials were synthesised for the photocatalytic applications. However metal oxide-metal sulfide heterostructure are mainly focused for the photocatalysis. In this study, the SrTiO3, ZnO, Bi2S3, PbS heterojunctions are prepared and their photocatalytic performances such as hydrogen production and organic pollutants eliminations are investigated. newline
