Abstract: | In the modern days, the increase in the population of modern industries and commercial building increase the demand of electricity. The fuel based power generation plants were installed at the various places of the country to meet out the energy requirement. The use of fuel based power generating station increases the air pollution, greenhouse effect and global warming. To increase the production of electricity and to reduce the emission of fossil gases, the renewable energy sources based power plants are rapidly developed during the last few decades. The renewable energy sources such as solar power plant, wind power plant, hybrid power plants, tidal power plants and geo thermal power plants have become an alternative solution for the electricity production. Among these, the solar power generation system offers favorable solution for the production of electricity. The abundant nature of the sun light and its availability over the earth surface, the solar power plant are mostly used as an alternative for the fossil fuels based power plants. newlineThe grid tied Photovoltaic (PV) system, stand-alone PV power generation system and hybrid PV and wind power generation systems are used in the commercial and industrial applications. A grid-tied PV system is the perfect choice for the customers who already have the grid interconnection to their commercial building or industry. The government of India and the state governments are providing the federal incentives for the installation of PV panel on the roofs of the buildings or houses. The main impartial of the grid connected PV system is to reduce gird energy utilization and energy usage cost. In the recent days, the small scale solar inverters called micro-inverters were utilized to power the local loads. There are numerous topology of micro-inverters have been portrayed to enhance the efficiency and power transfer capability. newline |
