Abstract: | In the scenario of the rapid growth of modern technologies, newlineinstruments and controls in heavy industries, educational institutions, and the newlinemanufacturing industries, the stability, reliability, and quality of electrical newlineservice become more essential for the advanced power utilities. The electrical newlinepower system causes too many power quality issues that affect the production newlineprocess. The power quality distortion becomes a significant challenge in the newlinepower system due to the increase of non-linear loads and nonlinear sinusoidal newlinecurrents. These non-linear loads generate the reactive power issues and newlineharmonics. This harmonic generation produces the higher power loss in newlinedistribution and electromagnetic interference problem in electronics newlineequipment. There are various existing researchers detailed the enormous newlinefilters for harmonics minimization. The Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) is newlineused to compensate the harmonics by introducing the non-linear loads like newlinefluctuating and unbalanced current loads. This research has focused on the newlinecurrent harmonic elimination to enhance the performance of the system. The newlinevoltage compensation has been achieved by the capacitor DC link voltage. newlineThis research has implemented the three-phase SAPF. It deals with the newlineenhancement of power quality in terms of harmonic elimination, reactive newlinepower compensation, power factor correction, and load balancing. The newlineoptimization techniques are used in solving the optimization issues in the newlinesystem with the objective function. The proposed framework in this research newlinehas analyzed the power quality issues and replaces the existing controller as newlinewell as computational techniques for more accuracy newline |
