dc.description.abstract | newlineHealthcare information exchange is an important research topic that can benefit both newlinehealthcare providers and patients. In healthcare data sharing, many cloud-based newlinesolutions have been proposed, but the trustworthiness of a third-party cloud service is newlinequestionable. Recently, Blockchain has been introduced in healthcare record sharing, newlinewhich does not rely on trusting a third party. However, existing approaches only focus newlineon the records collected from medical examinations. The majority of medical devices newlinebased on current centralized server data management technology don t give any newlineguarantee of authenticity and security. The collected data are shared with laboratories newlineand institutions for diagnosis and further study. Blockchain is a public tamperproof newlineledger that is a decentralized network system in which data transactions are newlinedistributed among the nodes. The combination of Blockchain technologies with a newlineconsensus algorithm can become the best choice for designing secured distributed ehealthcare newlinesystems. newline | |
