Abstract: | Thin-walled cold newlineincreasingly popular as a result of recent advances in manufacturing newlinetechnology and the availability of corresponding standards. Some unique newlinesections, such as the hollow flange sections (HFS), are im newlineprovide an effective structural solution. Hollow flange sections are newlinepredominantly used as the flexural members in the construction of light newlineindustrial and commercial buildings. The existence of torsionally rigid closed newlineflanges and the high st newlineeffectiveness. But their overall load carrying capacity can be severely newlineaffected due to their possible buckling failure modes. Nevertheless, the newlineoverall moment capacity can be enhanced for hollow sections by newlineconcrete infill which resists their buckling. newlineThe overall objective of the study is to understand the flexural newlinebehavior of hollow CFS newline(SCC) infill. The experimental program is divided into two ph newlineconsists of testing of fifteen rectangular hollow flange sections (RHF) with newlineand without SCC infill newlineaspect ratio, (b) web depth to developed length ratio, (c) section thickness, newlineand (d) developed length are studied. In the second phase of the experimental newlineprogram, hollow channel sections (HCS) with and without newlineinvestigated. In total, nine specimens were tested under this phase. In this newlinephase, the effect of different parameter newlinesection thickness, and (c) developed length are studied newline |
