Abstract: | Frequency performs a crucial role in Power quality, which is the foremost anticipation of electricity user. For a massive power system depends upon the load, several power systems are interconnected to fulfil the need through tie line. When multi power frameworks are interconnected, it is essential sustaining tie-line power flow and frequency constantly even during load perturbations. Load diverges easeless dependent on the need of the consumer. When there is a balance of the power generated and the power demand, then the system will be in equilibrium. In a power system, instant change in load deviates the frequency. Variation in frequency results aberration in power at dissimilar rates in the various system makes power flow in the tie line. To assure the power system stability Load Frequency Controller is executed in power generation control. Automatic Load Frequency Control (LFC) is the mechanisms used to attain real power balance. In multi-area interconnected power systems, LFC is a significant feature to sustain the frequency and the tie-line power of the interconnected area as near as possible to the anticipated standards. A good power system should provide quality power concerning voltage and frequency, even the existence of system disturbances and with changes in the load. It consistently senses the load demand and allocates the load based on the specification of the system newline |
