Abstract: Recent advancement in power electronics requires a sophisticated high voltage gain and proficient DC-DC converter to have output voltage as much as close to preferred reference suitable for various applications such as renewable energy systems, factory automations and high performance battery powered systems and for high reliable applications. The traditional converter is unable to handle with steady state errors that occur due to the variation in the input voltage, load and change in parameters. Generation of high-quality DC output is the most important requirement that needs the certain degree of robustness in the design of the control techniques for the converters being non linear in nature. It is achievable by employing the isolated and non isolated converters. newlineThe main objective of this thesis is to propose PI controller with inner current and outer voltage loop control for the controller extended with the Dickson Voltage Multiplier. To start, interleaved quadratic boost converter with the controller is studied with the R-L load to analyze its performance. Secondly, the interleaved energy stored quadratic boost converter is proposed to verify the sharing of power during the variation of power irradiance and load for the low power applications. Finally, the proposed converter is extended with the Dickson Voltage Multiplier to find it suitable for the high voltage applications. newlineFollowed by the theoretical study, these controllers are schematized in MATLAB R2017a (Simulink) platform. The consequence of the simulation leads to the verification of the ideology by the process of experimentation. To corroborate the simulation study, prototype structure is developed and tested for their validation in the laboratory. newline
