dc.description.abstractnewline The title of the research is The Technical Perspectives of Electronic Information newlineResources and its Use Pattern among Users of Medical College Libraries Affiliated to Rajiv newlineGandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka: A Case Study , and it deals with the use of e- newlineResources by Teaching Faculty and Post Graduate Students of medical professionals in newlineKarnataka. The study covered 28 medical colleges which are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi newlineUniversity of Health Sciences (RGUHS) in Karnataka. The questionnaire method is used as a newlinedata collection tool to collect the responses from the target population. newlineAltogether there were 1770 questionnaires distributed among Teaching Faculty and PG newlineStudents of medical professionals in Karnataka, out of which 1045 duly filled in questionnaires newlinewere received back through email, by personal and by post which is accounted for 59.04% of newlineresponse. Thus, the data collected has been analyzed and through SPSS package. The scholar newlinehere has applied scientific method of chi-square for the purpose of analysis and interpretations newlineof the data. The findings are projected in the light of the objectives and hypothesis. newlineAmong the respondents, it was represented that 91.8% have using internet and out of the newlineusing internet, 95.2% of respondents were using electronic resources in the institutions under the newlinestudy. The database covered E-books, E-journals and PubMed were the major e-Resources newlineassigned with 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank respectively, of which the Teaching Faculty of medical science newlineand PG Students were highly aware. Subsequently, MedScope, Databases and MEDLINE were newlineassigned with 4th, 5th and 6th rank respectively, of which the Teaching Faculty of medical science newlineand PG Students. The study also covered to the satisfaction of users about E-books, E-journals newlineand PubMed are highly satisfied e-Resources and UpToDate, Anatomy.tv and EBSCO are the newline least satisfied e-Resources among the Teaching Faculty of Medical Science and PG Students. newlineThe study also showed about usage of Medical Con
