Abstract: Cloud computing is the current technology of the communication world which connects human and data together to the Internet. Cloud is used in many applications like, online learning, online business, e-commerce, online travels, online foods, etc. Using cloud the user can access the application with heterogeneity characteristic like platform independent, location independent, system software independent, etc. These characteristics features widened the security and trust problems. Moreover cloud instances can be deployed either in a managed environment by the cloud provider or the cloud user environment. This makes the data to be available through the Internet, which is vulnerable for data confidentiality. This affects the cloud user trust towards digital policy. newlineThe enormous amount of data generated and the processing time make the existing Cloud inadequate to provide effective trusted services. Violations in Service level agreement (SLA) lead to catastrophe and hence trust factor monitoring plays an important role. Therefore, cloud services require trust mechanisms which can interpret the violations in cloud environment and effectively ranks the cloud services based on the appropriate responses. These responses are categorized as measurable responses (quantitative parameters) and immeasurable responses (qualitative parameters). newlineThis work, design and develop a trust based system in cloud environment by deploying instances and monitoring its quantitative and qualitative parameters. The main objective of this work is to rank the cloud services based on their trust parameters (existing and measuring) as well as sentiment analysis of feedbacks / reviews/ ratings/ recommendations. Direct parameters are obtained from Quality of Web Service (QWS) data set. Calculation of direct trust is implemented by using a linear programming algorithm in which the measurable parameters are passed as coefficients. newline
