Abstract: The exponential rise in communication demands across socio-industrial horizon has newlinerevitalized academia-industry to achieve more efficient and reliable transmission solution. newlineAmongst the major wireless communication technologies the decentralized and newlineinfrastructure less nature of Ad-hoc network strengthens its potential to be applied in newlinenumerous applications. On the other hand, inclusion of mobility with Ad-hoc network, newlinegiving rise to a new domain called Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) has attracted global newlineindustrial communities to assist communication under mobility , which is classically not feasible in traditional sensor networks. Such mobility provision in MANETs with IEEE 802.11 standard has given rise to a number of applications or communication environment where multiple wireless nodes communicate to the peers even being in mobile state. However, dynamic topology impose significantly huge computational complexity, which eventually affects overall Quality of Service (QoS), reliability, delay, energy exhaustion and resource (i.e, bandwidth) consumption. Considering advantages and uses newlineof MANETs, though a few researches have been done in the last few years to enhance newlineoverall routing efficiency, the parallel-increasing complexity confines efficacy of the major at hand solutions. Considering this as motivation, in this thesis the predominant emphasis has been made on developing a robust and efficient routing protocol for MANET, which could ensure above stated objectives to meet high pace up surging QoS demands. With newlinethese intends, in this thesis a multi-phased research effort has been made where at first the focus is made on exploiting multiple dynamic network parameters to enable adaptive newlinerouting decision so as to meet QoS provision. newlineSubsequently, realizing node death, abrupt node behavior changes, and malicious node newlinebehavior a novel multi-parametric assessment assisted trustworthiness based routing newlineprotocol is developed. As stated, being multi-phased research initially a robust QoS newlineOrient
