Abstract: A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) comprises of disseminated sensor newlinenodes which are used to track certain intriguing processes. A wireless sensor newlinenetwork can also be described as a device network capable of interacting with data newlinecollected from a supervised field through wireless connections. The data is newlinetransmitted across several nodes and tied to many other networks, such as wireless newlineEthernet, with a gateway. Sensors, controller, communication device, memory newlineand battery are the required hardware components for a sensor node. Every newlinemodule in a sensor node uses up the battery that needs to be used effectively. The newlinecapacity of the sensor nodes to communicate and connectivity is limited. Sampling newlinerates and time synchronization of sensor nodes are constrained by the affordability newlineof finite resources. A sensor node does have limited ability for computing and newlineprocessing information. The important research fields available in WSN are newlinecontrol science and signal processing, wireless communication and information newlinetheory. newlineMost of the WSN applications, wireless sensor nodes consist of the newlinebasic components such as sensing element, Analog to Digital converter (A/D), newlinefilter, processing element and RF transceiver. All these components in the sensor newlinenode should be designed to consume less area and power in order to increase the newlinebattery life of the sensor node. Filter is one of the component in the sensor node newlinewhich in general occupies larger area and power consumption because of newlinemultipliers within the filter architecture. Hence it gives us the motivation to design newlinefilter architecture of less area with low power consumption for wireless sensor newlinenodes. newline
